Our Thai customer is a company specializing in water conservancy projects and river channel maintenance. They are responsible for the dredging work of multiple important river channels within Thailand to ensure the navigability and flood-control functions of the river channels. Due to business expansion and the need to update existing equipment, they are looking for reliable and efficient slurry pumps.
2.Requirement Analysis
Working Conditions:River channels in Thailand are characterized by high sediment content, and the river sand in some areas is relatively hard. Moreover, the working environment has a high temperature and high humidity. Additionally, dredging operations need to be carried out in waters of different depths, requiring the slurry pump to be able to adapt to certain ranges of changes in head and flow rate.
Performance Requirements
High Wear - resistance: Since sediment causes severe wear to the pump body, the customer requires that the flow-passing parts of the slurry pump (such as impellers, pump casings, and wear plates) have excellent wear-resistant performance to reduce the cost of frequently replacing parts and downtime.
High Head and Appropriate Flow Rate: According to the width of the river channel and the dredging depth required, the flow rate and head of the slurry pump should reach the required levels to ensure that the sediment at the bottom of the river can be effectively transported to the designated sludge - discharging area.
Good Sealing Performance: Considering the humid working environment, prevent water and sediment from entering key parts such as motors and bearings to ensure the stable operation of the equipment.
Corrosion-resistant Capacity: Cope with the possible acid-base and impurity corrosion of river water to extend the service life of the equipment.
3.Solution
Product Selection
We recommended the CYB - ZKJ wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant slurry pump produced by our company to the customer. This model of slurry pump has the following features:
Material of Flow-passing Parts: The impeller is made of high-chromium alloy material, which has high hardness and strong wear resistance and can effectively resist the wear of river sand. The pump casing and wear plate are lined with wear-resistant fluoroplastic, which not only has good wear resistance but also can buffer the impact of sediment particles to a certain extent, reducing noise and vibration.
Performance Parameters: By adjusting the impeller rotation speed and configuring different impeller diameters, the head and flow rate requirements of the customer in different river dredging scenarios can be flexibly met.
Sealing Design: A dual-sealing structure combining mechanical seal and packing seal is adopted. The mechanical seal is made of high-quality silicon carbide material to ensure tightness under high-speed rotation and harsh environments. The packing seal serves as an auxiliary and backup seal, further enhancing the reliability of the seal and effectively preventing the intrusion of sediment and water.
Corrosion-resistant Treatment: The surface of the pump body has undergone special anti-corrosion coating treatment, which can resist the corrosive substances that may exist in the river water and extend the overall service life of the equipment.

Installation Guidance: We provided the customer with detailed installation instructions, including the installation position of the slurry pump on the ship or the shore, the connection method of the inlet and outlet pipes, and the foundation fixation requirements.

Product Demonstration and Testing:
At the request of the Thai customer, we conducted a performance demonstration of the slurry pump at the domestic test site, simulating the working conditions similar to the river dredging in Thailand, and showed the customer the stable operation state and high-efficiency conveying ability of the slurry pump under high sediment concentration and high - head conditions. In addition, we also invited the customer to conduct on-site inspections of some domestic project sites where the same model of the slurry pump was used for river dredging, allowing the customer to experience the actual effect of the product in person.
Contract Signing and Delivery:
After a series of communications and inspections, the Thai customer signed a purchase contract with us. We completed the production and packaging of the products according to the time and quality standards agreed upon in the contract and arranged for maritime transportation to ensure that the products arrived safely and in a timely manner at the port designated by the Thai customer.
5.After-sales Service
Remote Monitoring and Support:
To keep the customer updated on the operation status of the slurry pump in Thailand, we installed a remote monitoring system. Through this system, we can monitor the operation parameters of the slurry pump (such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, head, etc.) in real-time, detect potential problems in a timely manner, and provide remote technical support and fault diagnosis suggestions to the customer through telephone, email, or online meetings.
On-site Maintenance Service:
During the operation of the equipment, if there are faults that the customer cannot solve by themselves, our after-sales service team will rush to the Thai customer's construction site as soon as possible.
