synthetic rubber materials. Its production line involves the precise proportioning and transfer of various chemical materials, including corrosive caustic soda solution, polymerization-prone styrene, relatively viscous latex, as well as antioxidants and defoamers used for process control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because these media differ in chemical properties, flow characteristics, and transfer requirements, a single pump type could not be used for all applications. For chemical media in particular, pump selection needs to consider the properties of the medium, temperature, flow rate, head, material compatibility, and site piping conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After reviewing the customer&#8217;s production process and on-site transfer requirements, Changyu engineers configured <a href=\"https:\/\/changyupump.com\/product\/bfq-series-air-operated-double-diaphragm-pump-supplier\/\" data-type=\"product\" data-id=\"2421\">BFQ Series air-operated double diaphragm pumps<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/changyupump.com\/product\/stainless-steel-centrifugal-chemical-pump\/\" data-type=\"product\" data-id=\"1543\">CYH Series stainless steel centrifugal pumps<\/a> according to the characteristics of the different media. Instead, each medium was matched with an appropriate pump type and material based on its physical and chemical characteristics and actual transfer requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Process Medium<\/th><th class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Recommended Pump<\/th><th>Selection Reason<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\">Latex, Antioxidants, Defoamers<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-center\" data-align=\"center\"><strong>BFQ Series Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pump<\/strong><\/td><td>Latex has a certain viscosity, so pump operating speed and the shear effect on the material need to be considered during transfer. The BFQ uses diaphragm-driven operation, and its transfer condition can be adjusted by regulating air supply pressure and operating frequency. It is therefore suitable for process liquids where controlled transfer is required. The main challenge in this project was not the transfer of a single medium, but the presence of multiple process liquids with different characteristics within the same production section. Each medium has different requirements for pump type, materials, sealing, and operating conditions, so separate pump selection was required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The BFQ air-operated double diaphragm pump was used for latex and additive transfer. Its operating condition can be adjusted pneumatically according to production requirements, helping control the transfer process. The BFQ also uses a diaphragm-driven structure that keeps the transferred medium separated from the pneumatic drive section, which can reduce the leakage risks associated with conventional shaft-sealing structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CYH stainless steel centrifugal pump was mainly used for the continuous transfer of styrene and caustic soda solution. For volatile chemical media such as styrene, the medium temperature, sealing arrangement, and wetted-material compatibility should be confirmed.
