Pompes centrifuges chimiques et pompes multicellulaires expédiées au Brésil

September 2026 | Shipment News

In September 2026, Changyu prepared a shipment of CYH single-stage cantilever chemical centrifugal pumps and multistage pumps for a customer in Brazil. The customer supplies industrial equipment and provides engineering and technical services for fluid-handling projects in the Brazilian market.

Our factory photos and the accompanying video document the pumps during handling and packing, with wrapped pump assemblies and wooden crates visible in the workshop.

The video offers a short look at the shipment preparations inside the Changyu workshop, alongside the photographs below.

Two Pump Types for Different Fluid-Handling Duties

The shipment brings together chemical centrifugal pumps and multistage pumps. These serve different pumping requirements; their suitability depends on the liquid and the operating conditions of each project.

CYH Chemical Centrifugal Pumps

Le Pompes centrifuges chimiques CYH in this shipment use a single-stage cantilever configuration. Typical duties for this type of chemical pump include process-liquid transfer and circulation in chemical processing, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and paper production facilities.

Potential applications include chemical raw-material transfer, acid or alkali solution handling and process circulation. These applications require confirmation of the actual liquid composition, concentration and temperature, together with suitable wetted materials and sealing arrangements. A pump type alone does not establish chemical compatibility.

Watch our CYH product introduction for a closer look at the pump design. This is a general product video, separate from the Brazil shipment footage above.

Multistage Pumps

Multistage pumps are used where the system requires a higher head, such as industrial water supply, pressure boosting and longer-distance water transfer. Depending on the selected configuration and water quality, typical duties can also include reverse-osmosis feed boosting and auxiliary water supply for mining facilities.

For a related product configuration, explore our DF Series horizontal multistage centrifugal pump.

The following photos show our related DF Series product range for reference. They are product illustrations, not additional photographs of the Brazil shipment, and do not confirm the model or material supplied in this order.

These are typical application examples. Final selection depends on each project’s liquid properties and operating requirements.

Supporting an Industrial Equipment Supplier in Brazil

Our Brazilian customer supplies pumps and related fluid-handling equipment and provides technical support for industrial projects. Its business serves sectors including chemical manufacturing, mineral processing, fertilizer production and industrial water treatment.

For an equipment supplier working across these sectors, pump selection starts with the duty rather than the industry label. Chemical transfer requires careful attention to material and seal compatibility, while water supply and boosting duties require an assessment of head, flow and inlet conditions.

Selecting Chemical Centrifugal Pumps and Multistage Pumps

For a new pumping duty, begin with the liquid rather than simply choosing a pump by its connection size. Provide the fluid name, concentration and operating temperature, and identify any solids or fibers. These details help determine whether the casing, impeller and sealing arrangement are appropriate for the service. Corrosion resistance must be evaluated for the complete operating conditions, not inferred from a material name alone.

Next, establish the required flow and total system head, including elevation changes and pipe losses. Suction pressure, available inlet conditions, operating hours and electrical supply also affect selection. For a multistage installation, confirm the pressure rating of the connected pipework and valves, and discuss the expected operating range with the supplier before ordering.

For independent background on pump principles and system calculations, consult the Hydraulic Institute pump and pumping-system resources. These are general engineering references, not a certification or endorsement of this shipment. Our team can review your duty data and recommend a suitable product configuration.

Discuss Your Pump Requirements

If you are sourcing chemical centrifugal pumps or multistage pumps for an industrial project, send our team the liquid composition, concentration, operating temperature, required flow and total head. Please also include suction conditions, solids content and the available electrical supply so we can review the application and discuss an appropriate configuration.
