The customer focuses on the treatment of HW48 hazardous waste containing lead, including waste lead plates, lead sludge, anode slime, and lead-containing waste liquids. Through pyrometallurgical refining and fluorosilicic acid electrolysis processes, refined lead is produced.
In the electrolyte circulation system, the process fluid contains fluorosilicic acid, lead ions, and strong acidic components. This creates a highly corrosive and high-risk operating environment for pumping equipment.

Challenges in the Electrolyte Circulation System
The lead electrolysis process presents strict requirements for pumping systems:
- Strong acid corrosion from fluorosilicic acid

The original metal pumps frequently suffered from:

Pumping Solution
To solve these challenges, Pompe Changyu supplied a CYQ magnetic drive pump for the electrolyte circulation system.
The pump adopts a magnetic coupling structure, eliminating the need for mechanical seals and achieving a completely sealed, leak-free design.
