Antecedentes do projeto

The customer is an Indian pharmaceutical manufacturer specializing in pharmaceutical intermediates. During the expansion of its synthesis workshop and wastewater treatment facilities, the customer encountered several challenges related to fluid transfer equipment. The production process involved multiple difficult media, including corrosive chemicals, organic solvents, crystal-containing slurry, and wastewater containing solid particles. The existing pumping equipment could not provide stable long-term operation under these complex working conditions.

The main challenges included:

1. High Abrasion Crystal Slurry Transfer

In the ethanol recovery process, potassium tartrate crystals formed a high-concentration solid-liquid mixture. The original metal pumps experienced frequent wear caused by crystal particles. Mechanical seal failures and blockage issues affected the continuous operation of the production line and increased maintenance requirements.

2. Safe Transfer of Organic Solvents

The production process required the transfer of organic solvents such as DMF and other chemical liquids. Due to the characteristics of solvent applications, the customer required pumps with improved sealing performance and reduced leakage risks to ensure safer operation.

3. Solid-Containing Wastewater Handling

The wastewater treatment system contained solid particles and required pumps with good wear resistance and reliable performance under continuous operation.
