Is This the Right Pump for Your Filter Press?
If your current pump fills the press quickly but cannot build enough pressure, or reaches pressure but takes too long to fill the chambers, the problem is usually not simply “insufficient power.” A filter press asks the pump to do two very different jobs in one cycle. The right pump must deliver volume first and pressure later, while the slurry is becoming harder to move.
- This pump is a strong fit when the liquid contains fine solids and the pressure rises gradually during filtration.
