What are FSB Non metallic Chemical Pumps?
FSB series pumps, also known as “Fluoroplastic Lined Centrifugal Pumps,” are designed according to international standards. The pump body features a metallic outer shell lined with polyperfluoroethylene propylene (FEP). This unique construction combines the mechanical strength of metal with the exceptional corrosion resistance of fluoroplastics.
- Integrated Moulding: Impellers, pump covers, and bushings are sintered and pressure-moulded as a single unit with metal inserts.
- Advanced Sealing: Equipped with external bellows mechanical seals. The stationary ring uses 99.0% alumina ceramic or silicon carbide, while the moving ring utilises PTFE-filled materials for superior wear resistance.
Engineered for the Toughest Chemical Processes
The FSB series is the ideal equipment for modern chemical plants where preventing leaks (“Run, Emit, Drip, or Leak”) is critical.
Compatible Media:
Sulfuric Acid, Nitric Acid, Hydrochloric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Hydrofluoric Acid, Aqua Regia, Strong Alkalis, Organic Solvents, and Strong Oxidizers.

Automotive Manufacturing
Pickling and spray painting processes.

Non-ferrous Metal Smelting
Electrolyte transfer.

Chlor-alkali Industry
Ion-membrane caustic soda projects, chlorine water, and wastewater treatment.

Pesticide & Fertilizer
Corrosive liquid handling and acid addition.
Other Sectors: Petroleum, pharmaceutical, dyeing, Electronics & Papermaking, and electroplating.
For further industry-specific solutions, we recommend contacting the manufacturer to obtain a solution tailored to your specific operating conditions.
Advantages of the Non metallic Chemical Pumps
Extreme Corrosion Resistance
The FEP alloy material ensures the pump is inert to almost all chemical media.
Cost-Effective & Inter-compatible
Components like pump bodies, impellers, and seals are interchangeable between long-bracket and short-bracket (direct-coupled) types, reducing inventory costs.

High Mechanical Strength
Unlike pure plastic pumps, our metal-lined design prevents ageing and deformation under pressure.
Energy Efficient
Smooth flow channels and advanced hydraulic design minimise energy consumption.
We provide complete technical documentation, selection guidance, and engineering support to help you find the right fit for your specific slurry application. Customised designs are available for unique head, flow, or corrosion requirements.

Non metallic Chemical Pumps Specifications
Our company manufactures FSB Non-metallic Chemical Pumps, which are capable of continuously conveying a wide range of corrosive media—including acids, alkalis, salts and strong oxidising agents of any concentration—under temperatures ranging from -20°C to 90°C. The casing and all flow-passing components are made entirely from FEP fluoroplastic alloy, which combines the advantages of various fluoroplastics to offer exceptional corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, resistance to ageing, and the absence of toxic decomposition. This product features high mechanical strength, rational design, a compact structure, reliable performance, ease of use and maintenance, smooth flow paths for high efficiency, and energy savings. It has been awarded the ‘National Science and Technology Award’.
Parts
FSB non metallic chemical pumps utilise the most advanced external PTFE bellows mechanical seals currently available, featuring multi-layer protection that extends the service life of the mechanical seal. When pumping media containing particulate impurities, these pumps can be fitted with a single-face hard-on-hard (silicon carbide against silicon carbide) mechanical seal that requires no cooling water; therefore, users must take into account the solid content of the medium when selecting a model.
The flow-passing components of FSB non-metallic chemical pumps are entirely manufactured from fluoroplastic alloys, resulting in a compact design, simple operation and low cost. All components of this series—including the pump casing, cover, impeller and mechanical seal—are interchangeable with those of the FSB (D) type short-support direct-coupled fluoroplastic centrifugal pumps. Consequently, they are highly popular among a wide range of users.

Superior Engineering in Every Detail

Precision Bearing Box: Mirror-finished to prevent deformation during installation, doubling the service life.
Pure Copper Motor: Brand-name copper core motors for powerful, safe, and efficient drive.
Full Plastic Casing Design: Resistant to acid mist and air corrosion, perfect for harsh industrial atmospheres.
Reinforced HT200 Bracket: Thickened, single-piece casting with no weld points, providing up to 200Mpa tensile strength.
Important Notes
Do not run dry: Never operate the pump without water to prevent damage to the mechanical seal;
Selection guidance: Please specify in advance if the medium contains solid particles so that a bespoke sealing solution can be provided;
