Pump Services and Technical Support
From pump selection to after-sales support.
Changyu provides pump selection and technical support for water supply and drainage, wastewater treatment, mining, slurry handling and chemical processing. Across our pump range, we help you define the configuration, agree factory testing and prepare for installation, with spare parts and after-sales support for your equipment.

Operating a Changyu pump?
01 / Application Review and Pump Selection
Match the pump to your liquid.
Build the selection around your duty.
We review the liquid properties, required flow and head, installation conditions and operating requirements to match a suitable pump from the Changyu range. The review covers clean water, wastewater, mine water, slurries and chemical liquids, with materials and configuration selected for the actual duty.
- Liquid composition, concentration and temperature
- Flow, total head, density, viscosity and solids
- Suction arrangement, liquid levels and available NPSH
- Sealing requirements, power supply and site conditions
A material name or maximum catalog rating is not a complete selection. The proposed configuration must suit your actual duty.
Changyu pump options
Compare constructions, not just model numbers.
Our range includes water pumps, single-stage and multistage centrifugal pumps, slurry pumps, magnetic-drive pumps, self-priming pumps, semi-submersible pumps and diaphragm pumps, alongside screw pumps, hose pumps and filter press feed pumps.
We compare pump constructions against water supply and drainage, wastewater treatment, mine drainage, slurry transfer or chemical process requirements. Pressure, solids handling, corrosion, sealing, suction conditions and maintenance access are considered as applicable to the selected pump.

02 / Configuration and Controlled Manufacturing
From agreed configuration to controlled production.
For standard and project-specific Changyu pumps, we confirm the duty, wetted materials, seal arrangement, motor and interfaces before production. Our documented procedures cover first-piece approval, critical component inspection, assembly checks and operator and inspector records.
- Verify materials, seals, motor requirements, connections and dimensions
- Approve the first piece and inspect critical components against drawings
- Check assembly, impeller balance and pressure integrity under applicable procedures
- Retain process records and isolate nonconforming items for review
Tooling verification and measuring-tool calibration support these checks. Special configurations and certification requirements remain subject to technical review and the agreed order scope.
03 / Factory Testing and Acceptance
Agree what will be tested.
Know what the results mean.
Changyu’s documented factory test process records flow, head, rotational speed and electrical and power measurements at multiple operating points. Analysis software saves test data and generates performance curves and reports against the agreed test scope, standard and acceptance criteria.

Hydraulic performance
Multi-point flow and head measurements build a performance curve. Relevant power and efficiency data are evaluated against the agreed duty and test basis.
Operating checks
Vibration, noise, bearing temperature and seal leakage are checked as applicable to the pump type, alongside equipment and nameplate identification.
Test records and reports
Saved measurements and performance curves support the report agreed for the order. Cavitation testing, additional inspections and witnessing are arranged only within a confirmed scope.
For rotodynamic pumps, ISO 9906:2012 hydraulic performance acceptance tests provide a reference when specified for the order. Test liquid, temperature, speed and acceptance grade matter. A water-based factory performance test does not by itself verify chemical compatibility or performance with every process liquid.
04 / Delivery and Installation
Prepare for the handover,
not just the shipment.
Changyu’s documented handover process calls for quality sign-off and completed production records before release to storage or dispatch. Equipment identification, packing and the agreed delivery documents are checked against the order.
- Verify the pump model, nameplate and packing list
- Prepare agreed test reports, drawings and operating documents
- Retain shipment photographs before and after packing
Installation and startup guidance
Remote guidance helps your team review alignment, pipe connections and startup checks for the selected pump. Piping loads, priming, lubrication and protection settings must follow the equipment instructions and actual installation conditions.
Installation, electrical work and commissioning must be performed by qualified personnel under your site’s procedures. Any on-site attendance needs to be agreed for the project and location.
05 / Spare Parts and After-Sales
Make support specific
to the pump you operate.
Support starts by identifying your pump from its model, serial number and photographs. We then check the installed configuration and relevant components before reviewing the operating issue or replacement-part requirement.
Send the actual liquid conditions, flow, pressure readings, motor current and when the problem occurs. These details guide the technical review and a proposed next step or parts recommendation; visually similar parts are not assumed to be interchangeable.
Parts identification
Share the nameplate, part description or drawing reference, and photographs of the relevant components. Availability and dispatch timing depend on the confirmed part and order.
Warranty enquiries
We review warranty enquiries against the agreed order terms, equipment identification and reported conditions. Coverage, remedies and any transport or service costs follow those terms.
Safe maintenance
Before inspection or disassembly, trained, qualified personnel must assess the risks, use appropriate PPE, isolate the equipment and follow site procedures for depressurization, draining and decontamination.
Safety is part of the service discussion. Tell us about hazardous liquids, area classification and site requirements during selection. Risk assessment, appropriate PPE and personnel training remain essential during installation and maintenance. A general product description is not approval for a specific hazardous duty.
How We Work Together
A clear path from enquiry to support.
01
Share the duty
Send the liquid properties, operating requirements and installation conditions.
02
Confirm the proposal
Review the model, materials, sealing, interfaces and commercial scope.
03
Agree acceptance
Confirm tests, acceptance criteria and the required documents before manufacture.
04
Plan the handover
Coordinate delivery information, installation questions and future parts enquiries.

Service Questions
Before you enquire.
Can you help if I do not know the pump model I need?
Yes. Start with the liquid, required flow and head, temperature and installation conditions. We can discuss a suitable starting configuration and identify missing information before the selection is finalized.
Can I request a factory test report?
Please specify the required report, test scope and acceptance criteria during the enquiry. Report contents and any additional tests should be agreed for the order before manufacture.
How do I identify the correct replacement part?
Send the pump model, serial number, nameplate photograph and any part number or drawing reference. Clear photographs help, but dimensional and material compatibility still need to be checked.
Do you provide on-site service?
Remote technical support is the starting point. On-site attendance, local assistance, scope, scheduling and charges need to be confirmed for your location and project; they are not automatically included.
What warranty applies to my pump?
The warranty period, scope and handling procedure follow the confirmed quotation and order terms. Please include your order reference and equipment details when raising a warranty enquiry.
What information is needed for a new pump enquiry?
Share the liquid composition, temperature, required flow and total head, suction arrangement and power supply. Include any required tests, documents and special site conditions so we can review the application.
